i might be a little cooler than i originally

thought yesterday.

apparently i'm still huggable.... but only under certain circumstances.

blake will still hug me at school IF we are indoors. and only if that indoors is the inside of HIS classroom. apparently he doesn't care if anyone in his class sees him hug me, but he does not want the older kids to see it. the older kids he can't even play with because this school segregates the 3rd graders from the 4 & 5th ones. (weird)

whatever his rules are- i'm totally playing. if it still gets me hugs in public, i'm all over it. i guess i have a little time left when it comes to blake and hugs!

I play the same game with my kitty-cat. I can only kiss and cuddle with him on his terms. But I totally play along because I'd rather get some lovin' than none. Most of the game is, "No more kissin', just admiring from inches away. No, further. Okay, that's good." He has me wrapped around his paw.

Good to hear. :)

It's not weird to separate 3rd graders from 4th and 5th graders. Haven't you heard about them???

Take what you can get. Hugs in his classroom are better than no hugs at all!!!

Lucky you! My kindergartener never hugs me at school -- nor does he run like a maniac to greet me when I pick him up like the other kids do.

I had been slightly comforted by the fact that he does hold my hand on the walk to and from -- but then today, he let go of my hand as soon as we got in the hallway -- I don't think I'm ready for this!

Oops, the other kids run to greet their parents, not me --- should read before I hit publish, sorry.
